Sharehouse Hidamari Kamishizu is a sharehouse located in Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture. The nearest station is Shizu Station on Keisei Main Line and it’s 30 minutes away from Tsudanuma Station and Narita International Airport, 40 minutes from Chiba Station, and one hour from Tokyo.

 

It is easy to get to major areas, although you will need to transfer. Mainly the many families live in the area, so it’s a quiet place.

 

Rent of the sharehouse is from ¥28,000 to ¥33,000 + ¥12,000 as a common service fee for private rooms ranging from 4.5 to 6.5 tatami-mat size (approx. 8.20㎡ to 11.85㎡. Living in a sharehouse will be cheper since the average rent for apartments in Shizu is ¥40,000 for a room with a kitchen and ¥58,000 for a room with a living room, dinning room and kitchen.

Sharehouse Hidamari Kamishizu is 12 minutes away on foot and 4 minutes by bicycle from the nearest station, Shizu Station on Keisei Main Line.

 

It’s really convenient since a supermarket is 3 minutes away and convenience stores are 6 minutesaway by bicycle. AEON Mall is 11 minutes away. Moreover, there are pharmacy, hardware store, cafes, Italian restaurant, noodle shops, Japanese style bars, and an used book store called BOOK-OFF.

 

The sharehouse itself is located in a slightly secluded residential area, but because of this, there are few cars passing by and you will not feel any noise. You can relax as if you were living in your hometown.

The most attractive thing about Kamishizu is that there is no age limit for moving in.

 

Most sharehouses have an age limit of around 35, but this sharehouse doesn’t. We welcome people in their 40s and 50s, allowing for a wide range of interaction/communication.

 

For easy interaction/communication, this sharehouse has a connected living room and dining room, with a bar counter right next to the kitchen and couch on the left and in front. It is easy to talk and get to know each other because you are in the same space despite the distance.

 

Even if all 9 residents get together in the shared-space, there are enough seats for everyone to talk/listen to. You can have a movie night since the sharehouse has a screen.

 

Also, a private room comes with a bed, small fridgerator, curtain, desk and chair. You can chill out in your room and keep a balance between your private time and socializing.

Q3. Recommended spots around the sharehouse

Sakura City, where the sharehouse is located, is famous for the remains of Sakura Castle and Sakurajoshi Park. Depending on the time of year, you can enjoy cherry blossoms, sunflowers, tulips, cosmos, and other flowers bloom in all four seasons. Each of them blooms for about two or three weeks at a time, so make plans with other residents to go visit the park.

 

Also, you can go eat out with other residents on the way home from work or weekends to restaurants around the sharehouse.

 

There are few clothes/fashion stores in the area around Shizu, it would be fun to go out to Tokyo for shopping.
